We have this challenging and rewarding opportunity within our Family Violence Outreach Program.

In this role you will provide information, advocacy, referral and case management support to single women and single women with children who are experiencing homeless or are at risk of homelessness to maximise their ability to live independently.

 About Wayss: We  exist so all people facing homelessness and/or family violence can have a safe, secure and affordable home that helps them to live a better life.  You will be joining a leader in the provision of support services in response to family violence and homelessness.  Wayss was a major contributor of submissions to the Royal Commission into family violence in Victoria and many of our recommendations were endorsed by the Commission.

The Program:  The WAYSS Family Violence Outreach Program supports women who have or are escaping domestic violence and are homeless or at risk of homelessness with information, referral, advocacy and assistance with accommodation options. Working with clients to develop and implement individualised support plans, which may include referrals to appropriate services such as court support networks, legal assistance, counselling and crisis accommodation options.

Women's Services provides transitional support to women who have or are escaping domestic violence and are homeless or at risk of homelessness.  Support may include information, advocacy, referral to appropriate services including legal, court support networks and accommodation options.
