PRAP is designed to assist clients establish or maintain private rental accommodation as a long term housing option. This can be achieved by providing the client with a range of flexible financial assistance packages together with other related forms of assistance and support.
Support from PRAP is only available if you are currently linked with a support worker who is able to refer you for assistance. Referrals for assistance can be made in the following way:
- Women and children may be referred by a WAYSS support worker or a worker from Good Shepherd.
- Young people may be referred by a support worker from WAYSS, SalvoCare Eastern or Youth Links.
- The Eastern Regions Mental Health Association (ERMHA) is able to make referrals to PRAP through the Mental Health Pathways program.
You should talk to your support worker to find out if you can access support from PRAP.
WAYSS PRAP services are funded to provide assistance to people in the Cities of Greater Dandenong, Frankston, Casey and the Shires of Cardinia and Mornington Peninsula.
