The introduction of Common Homelessness Access Point (CHAP) will make a change to the way accommodation services are accessed
In the past there has been the need for clients to retell their story to each agency providing assistance. However, with your consent, relevant information will be made available to the most appropriate accommodation services.
CHAP provides adults, youth and families, experiencing or at risk of homelessness, access to timely assistance and/or referral to central access points.
WAYSS provides face-to-face assistance, Monday – Friday, for the following areas:
- Dandenong, 8:30am –5:30pm
- Narre Warren, 9:30am –5:30pm
