WAYSS South East Family Violence Crisis Service provides information, referral and support to women and their children experiencing family/domestic violence. Family/domestic violence may be perpetrated by a partner, ex-partner, sibling, child, parent or by another family member. There is increasing incidence of women, especially single mothers, being abused by their children, as well as young women being abused by siblings or parents. Violence can also occur in same sex relationships. The Family Violence Crisis Service responds to all these types of abuse.

A Family Violence Crisis Service, Case Worker can assist by locating alternative safe accommodation (including women's refuge), apply for an intervention order or access Centrelink payments. Including referrals to other services such as family law solicitors, financial counsellors, personal counsellors and support groups. If needed, we can advocate with the police on your behalf.

WAYSS Ltd also has a domestic violence outreach program for women and children experiencing family violence who require longer-term support.
